During the off season practicing your calling even a few days a week in the car or the house will make your calling on day one of the season better than your hunting buddies could ever imagine. Taking the time to watch some instructional DVD's and CD's like Bad Grammar, Honker Talk, or the Ancient Art of Paralyzing is a good way to help learn the notes. Learning to sound like a goose, and note a goose call is a major advantage when the birds get tough.
